ACO8103 - Dual 2-3-Way / Mono 4-Way Active Crossover
The Audio2000'S® ACO8103 unit is a dual 2/3-way or a mono 4-way active crossover for professional sound applications. The ACO8103 is configured to be rack-mountable. The ACO8103 active crossover contains two channels, left channel and right channel. Each channel can be selected to be utilized as either a two-way active crossover or a three-way active crossover. When the ACO8103 is to be utilized as a two-way active crossover, the "Selector Way" switch needs to be set to "2W-1" or "2W-2". The "Low Level" and "High Level" knobs are used to adjust the low-pass output level and high-pass output level respectively. At the "2W-1" mode, the "Mid Level" and "2K-10K" knobs will be disabled and the "200-2K" knob will be used to adjust the crossover frequency, fc, in the audio frequency range of 200Hz - 2KHz. At the "2W-2" mode, the "Mid Level" and "200-2K" knobs will be disabled and the "2K-10K" knob will be used to adjust the crossover frequency, fc, in the audio frequency range of 2KHz - 10KHz. When the ACO8103 is to be utilized as a three-way active crossover, the "Selector Way" switch needs to be set to "3W". At the "3W" mode, the the "200-2K" knob will be used to adjust the low crossover frequency, fcl, in the audio frequency range of 200Hz - 2KHz while the "2K-10K" knob will be used to adjust the high crossover frequency, fch, in the audio frequency range of 2KHz - 10KHz. The "Low Level", "Mid Level" and "High Level" knobs are used to adjust the low-pass output level, mid band-pass output level and high-pass output level respectively. If one channel, say left channel, is set to "3W" while the other channel, right channel in this case, is set to "2W-1", a 4-way active crossover can be achieved by routing the low frequency output from the left channel to the input of the right channel. With such a setup, the high frequency output and the mid frequency output from the left channel become the high frequency output and mid-high frequency output of the 4-way active crossover while the high frequency output and the low frequency output from the right channel become the mid-low frequency output and low frequency output of the 4-way active crossover. The high crossover frequency, fch, and the mid crossover frequency, fcm, are controlled by the "2K-10K" knob and "200-2K" knob respectively. The low crossover frequency, fcl, is controlled by the "200-2K" knob in the right channel. Three phase selector buttons in each channel are provided to have the high frequency band, mid frequency band and low frequency band assigned with a 0-degree phase or 180-degree phase individually. A peak LED indicator is provided in each channel to indicate the saturated input signal condition. As a result, the ACO8103 active crossover provides the users with not only the extraordinary sound quality but also the excellent application versatility and effectiveness. APPLICATIONS
